Hallo,

It was not easy to find out the reason. Since I could not find a =
solution
very fast,
I thought that I will install the latest Patch.(PK5). So I made an =
ftp
connection to ftp.support.compaq.com to fetch the Patch file. It =
took
almost 45 minutes to transfer the file(160MB)
with a 100Mb card. So I started looking in network area. Executed =
the
command=20
"netstat 1" to get network status from this machine. In the "errrs"
colums of netstat output I was getting
few errors always. So first I replaced the network card. Since we =
are
having HW contract with hp
I got the card replaced very fast. Now the system is stable without =
any
problems.

Kumar
