Hi all,

I have an ES40 system running Tru64 Unix V 5.1B, connected to a HSG80
Controller.
I have all the devices and raid arrays assigned in the HSG80
controller, I have one enclosure, 14 disks, raided as 4 big disks. Now
I have 2 of them are going through port 1 in the HSG80 cont., and the
other 2 are through port 2. I have done this by setting the unit ids
(d01-d99 --> port 1)(d101-d199 -> port 2).
Now I need to route all of them to port 1, I have already se two of
them to d103 and d104.
can I delete then assign the unit id again without losing data on the
disks?
I want to be able to do the following (C03 and c04 are the raid arrays)
HSG> del d103
HSG> del d104
HSG> add unit d103 c03
HSG> add unit d104 c04

Any suggestions?

Mohamed
