Oracle SNMP

I saw some old post to the group about Oracle MIBs and snmp, etc., but no summaries. Has anyone been able to trap Oracle info through standard snmp means (w/ the already running Tru64 daemons and through standard ports)? It seems like Oracle wants to use it's own engines and special port numbers, which won't work with monitoring software.

Thanks
