Hi, again
Just to clarify:
I have cluster AB of member A and B. Both installed with NetWorker
client
6.1.3
AB is configured as client with root_at_A and root_at_B for remote access.
If I try to add A as alias to AB, I get the error message A is already
the
name of AB and vice versa.
Now, consider the following:
1)only member A is up, and I do a backup of /usr/A.
2)start member B and shut down member A.
3)make a back-up of /usr/B
4)start member A so that both members are up
In nwrecover on A it is then only possible to browse through /usr/A
And on B it is only possible to browse through /usr/B disregarding
Whether the other member is up or not. I get no errors, A and B just
Act as two different systems, when it comes to recovery...
The server seems to remember who "really" made the backup, even if
The "volumes" tab shows that all save sets are owned by "AB" and the
"indexes" tab shows that only "AB" got an index.
Jose A. Fabregas Reyes mentioned something about 'alias-cluster-client'.
I don't have that. I just found out that the server is 6.1.1, not 6.1.3.
Is that too old?
Yours,
Lars Bro
