Warning: Smart Array Controller for Alpha in ES80

Hi guys!
Does anyone knows about any RAID Controller that really supports the
internal drive cage for an AlphaServer ES80 ?
One of our customers bought a Smart Array 5302A to create an internal mirror
in an ES80,
but it is not physically possible to connect the scsi cable, internally. I
feel like this
is not a BA610-6D internal drive cage, right ?

It looks like the RAID controllers in al AlphaServer ES80 are only supported
for external
Disk Drives Connections. Can anyone confirm this ?
