Admins, first a very big thank you to all who ahve responded and offered a
wealth of help as always. The issue now appears to have been the connector
on the controller on the storage device. I had not bothered with any of
the cabling other than what the attachemnet to the ds10 itself. I removed
the cable from the controller, resecurred it and double checked everything
once again, then powerd up the storage cabinet, watched as the controller
rpolled the devices and then I booted the ds10. I was very pleased to see
the drives show up as it booted. I thank you all for your time and help. I
must admit I feel a bit foolish over a connector likely not seated
properly. MAkes me wonder what was done at the remote site before it was
sent to me. Everyone have a great day and thanks again!
Regards,
Mark
