well the list comes throught at lightning speed.

two ways to find firmware rev of HBA

grep KGPSA /var/adm/messages

or


hwmgr show fibre -adapter

although hwmgr complained that no fibre subsystem was configure ...

anyhow, I got my answer....thanks a million
