I use edauth a lot in scripts to move users from a local database to the
NIS database. Today I noticed that when I run edauth -gN as root I get
a memory fault from it. If I do a edauth -gN username I get the memory
fault. I tried running it with a normal account and get the same
thing. However if I run edauth -g as a user in the NIS area it is ok so
I dont think the entry is corrupt or anything. Has anyone noticed this
behavior?
Im running Tru64 5.1b on an ES40 with 2gb ram.
Patch kit 3.
thanks for any info or help,
