rmvol stuck on last 1% ?

I have a problem removing a disk volume from an AdVFS
(version 4) file domain. The volume (2: dsk11) was at 42% capacity
and the rmvol quickly relocated 41% of this to other volumes
in the domain, but has been stuck on the last 1% since Saturday.

Vol 1K-Blks Free % Used Cmode Rblks Wblks Vol Name
 1 213291776 38103472 82% on 256 256 /dev/disk/dsk10c
 2 213291776 211994056 1% on 256 256 /dev/disk/dsk11c
3L 17778192 17157272 3% on 256 256 /dev/disk/dsk15c

The rmvol operation just keeps running, but consumes very little
CPU time, and there's little activity on the source disk (dsk11)
There's plenty of disk space for it to relocate to on dsk10 or dsk15,
but it just seems to be stuck on something on dsk11.

Has anyone seen this something like this before?
Any ideas how to find out whats stopping it?
