process memory allocation

Hello Managers,

I have a process from one of our applications called "controller" running
out of memory when it is executed on a 5.1ES40 with 4.5 Gb of Ram.
I have seen :

sysconfig -Q <subsystem> <parameter> to see if a subsystem is ok,
but how do you configure the syntax for the parameter of memory? Is there
a "key word" list for sysconfigdb?

What is the correct way to add a dynamic mod to the kernel for a homegrown
process?

Thanks in advance.
