Hi Managers,
I got a few e-mails asking how the problem was resolved. Unfortunately, we aren't sure!
We tried suggestions related to the one below from Dan Price (thanks Dan!):
# cd /etc/auth/system
# cp ttys ttys.old
# cp ttys.db ttys.db.old
# cp .new..ttys ttys
# convauth -d t
# cp devassign devassign.old ; cp .new..devassign devassign
We also tried a restore from backup of a few files. However, these didn't seem to work.
Then, this morning we tried to login again and it worked. Sorry I can't provide more information, but I will update this if we do find out what went wrong.
Thanks again. Enjoy the rest of the day!
Regards
Allycia
