Hi all,

because many of you answered even after I had sent my first summary, thanks again and especially to M.R.Andersen who provided a link to the source of the documentation.

The correct syntax is really vm_swap_eager since 5.0, but the old shape with dashes does work as well,
see the "Tru64 UNIX Release Notes for 5.0, Part Number AA-RH8WA-TE, July 1999", http://h30097.www3.hp.com/docs/base_doc/DOCUMENTATION/V50_PDF/ARH8WATE.PDF :
"1.10.5 Kernel Attribute Changes
All kernel attribute names now use underscores. They no longer contain dashes. Old kernel attribute names using dashes are hidden; they are no longer automatically shown in the output of a query operation. Although existing tools and programs using the old attribute names still work in this release, the old names with dashes will be retired in a future release. For more information on kernel attributes, see the sys_attrs(5) reference page."

I believe, that because Release Notes for 5.0A, 5.1, 5.1A nor 5.1B don't mention the dashes to be retired in "this" release and 5.1B should be the last v5 for ever, the Tru64 v5 could live with dashes until it dies (the next Tru64 will have version 11i v3).

With Best Regards,

Martin
