SUMMARY: tcbhashsize

Thanks to Chris Eubank, Dr. Thomas Blinn, Kris Smith, Mike Broderick, Nikola
Milutinovic, and Tim Cutts for their responses. I discovered that the
problem was a duplex missmatch with the server and the router. This problem
was fixed and my data transfers are running at expected speeds.

Thanks again

Chris

Subject: tcbhashsize

Admins,

We are currently transfering about 100GB of data over NFS and is
running extreamly slow. Also in /var/adm/messages we are getting Mon dd
hh:mm:ss hosta vmunix: NFS3 server hostb not responding still trying. No in
packet errors or outpacket errors on the nic cards. I saw a posting in the
archives that stated possibly bumping up the inet:tcbhashsize from 512 to
2048. Does anyone see this as a problem or know of any ramifications?

TIA,
