Hi - I was wondering if there was a way to enforce a change of password for users without enabling C2 security.
I notice that a user can go through the passwd dialog by re-entering their old password. I have checked /etc/passwd
and the encrypted password field has changed. This thwarts my scripting effort to check that the password actually has changed.
Any ideas on this , or is enhanced security the only option . Thanks. We are on Tru54 5.1
