Hi Managers
Does anybody have any experience of putting httpd-2.0.48 on a Tru64 5.1B?
I get the following errors on make:
/home/downloads/httpd-2.0.48/server/exports.c:2443: error: redefinition of
`ap_hack_apr_version_string'
/home/downloads/httpd-2.0.48/server/exports.c:1556: error:
`ap_hack_apr_version_string' previously defined here
*** Exit 1
Stop.

There's actually several pages of these, all with the two errors above but
occurring at different points in exports.c. According to the apache.org
website, any build failures might be due to a recent OS upgrade - see
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/misc/FAQ.html#broken-gcc
As it happens, I put patch kit 3 on yesterday.... Would this count as an
OS upgrade?
As instructed in the apache FAQ, I have:
# gcc -v
Reading specs from /usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/alpha-dec-osf5.1/3.3.2/specs
Configured with: ../gcc-3.3.2/configure --enable-languages=c++,c
Thread model: single
gcc version 3.3.2
Thanks in advance for any comments
Cheers
Derek
