Oracle9iRAC/TruCluster and rm_check_for_ipl

Hi ,

I'm configuring a 2 nodes ES45 / MC / 5.1B Trucluster with Oracle 9iRac

I've found differents informations about setting the rm_check_for_ipl
parameter .

recommends to set this parameter to 0

and the Tru64 system configuration and tuning for oracle

recommends to set this parameter to 63

what is the best value to get the best performance ??? 0 or 63 or any other
??

what is the influence/feature of this parameter ?? I found very few
informations about this.
