Boot member swap space

Is there a limit to how much swap space is created when a new boot member is
added? I've create a couple of boot members with large disks (20gig) and
swap was created at 8gig. I thought that the boot members root partition
would take some space and the cnx partition would take a little bit and then
the rest of the disk would be allocated to swap. The disk I used was
unpartition when I created the boot member. Would that cause a difference?

I know it is better to have swap spread across multiple disk, but these disk
were created all ready so I used them. If I partitioned the boot member disk
before I create the boot member fix the problem?

Thanks,
