SUMMARY: Tune OS to manage directories with high number of files

I will do a mix solution to solve my problem.

I will try first to improve the caching of the directory file structure, only to survive for a while. Because it has a high memory usage tradeoff.

But for a consistent solution, I will follow Bob's suggestion and upgrade the OS to 5.1a version. It will take a time, because the application must be recompiled.
