We have an ES40 running Tru64 5.1B PK3 connected to a non-HP (Jetstor)
fiber storage device. It's connected through two separate fiber paths,
via Brocase 2800 FC switches, and using KGPSA-CA HBAs with current
firmware.
Everything works just fine, apart from periodic errors logged from the
emx driver. The basic error text is "emx_cam_sio_done: bogus FCP_RSP
detected". Both HBAs log a lot of these during system startup, then
flurries occur at seemingly random times after that - our last set is
from 16-July, 3-4 days ago.
Final note is that these errors only accour when LUN mapping is in
effect on the Jetstor (it's shared with some other, non-Tru64 systems).
My hope is to find out what the meaning of the message is, and if it's
harmless, is there any way to suppress it?
Thanks for any ideas,
Graham
