Dear Managers:

I am having problem in changing the file descriptor
limit in TruCluster v5.1B on DS25 using MSA1000.

The current file descriptor limit is 4096. I am
running iPlanet Enterprise Web Server 6.0 and it gives
an error message on startup stating that the file
descriptor limit should be increased from 4096 to
5763.

If I use "ulimit -n 5076", I get a message that "ksh:
ulimit: execeeds allowable limit".

How can I change the file descriptor limit from 4096
to 5763.

Thanks in advance.

Praveen
