Hello Managers:
I am putting all the files that might give an insight
into my systems.
--------------------------------
mmsappa:root_/> cat /etc/resolv.conf
domain wesmlocal.lan
nameserver 192.168.42.100
search wesmlocal.lan
--------------------------------
/etc/svc.conf file
aliases=local
auth=local
group=local
hosts=local,bind,yp
netgroup=local
networks=local
passwd=local
protocols=local
rpc=local
services=local
SECLEVEL=BSD # for backwards compatibility ONLY
--------------------------------
mmsappa:root_/> cat /etc/routes
default 192.168.42.253
--------------------------------
/etc/hosts file
127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.42.50 pmmsapp.wesmlocal.lan pmmsapp
pmmsapp.usnet.abb.com
192.168.42.51 mmsappa.wesmlocal.lan mmsappa
mmsappa.usnet.abb.com
192.168.42.52 mmsappb.wesmlocal.lan mmsappb
mmsappb.usnet.abb.com
10.0.0.1 mmsappa-ics0
10.0.0.2 mmsappb-ics0
120.160.200.3 scdns #DNS
nameserver
192.168.42.100 wesm0031 #DNS
nameserver
-------------------------------
scdns was the earlier DNS server.
Now the wesm0031 is the DNS server running on WIN2K.
The earlier domain was usnet.abb.com and now the
domain is wesmlocal.lan
Thanks,
Praveen
