According to Antonio Gonzalez:
- If the shelf connects to a controller, the the controller will monitor the
disks
- If the sehlf connects to an adapter that sits in a Operating System
domain, then you need to use all the tools that this OS provide to monitor a
disk from the logical point of view.
This shelf isn't able to deliver any SNMP trap either.
According to John Lanier:
Some things related to the OS that you may want to consider are:
1. "hwmgr"
2. "evm"
3. "ca/wsea"
