('binary' encoding is not supported, stored as-is) In our company we have two tru64 servers accessing a Linux RH ES 3.0 NFS server.

An old one with version 4.0g with a reasonable access speed and a new one with the 5.1b version installed with a very poor performance of the NFS service installed on the Linux server.

I have already compared the network configurations and they seemed to be similar.

I have already forced Full Duplex in the Switch and the 5.1b server

I have also checked the FTP speed of the server and it is also very fast. So the problem is not in the ethernet configuration.
