Hi, I have a HSG80 with a single controller with 512MB cache direct attached (without a switch/hub) to a DS20E (dual 666MHz). When initialising a raidset on the HSG80 with 6 disks (72GB 15K RPM) over 6 ports/channels I don't get more than 4200KB/s read and 820KB/s write throughput per port (vtdpy, display device). Also when accessing a diskset like this I have never been able to read or write more than 20~30MB/S. Shouldn't this controller be capable of more than this, with these disks? OS: Tru64 UNIX 5.1B PK3 FC: KGPSA-CA : Driver Rev 2.10 : F/W Rev _3.91A1(2.20A0) emx0: Using console topology setting _of : Loop HSG80: Software V87G-4, Hardware E12 PORT_1_TOPOLOGY = LOOP_HARD (loop up) Regards, Maurice Akkermans Sys.Adm.
