I got 1 reply from Simon.Haldemann (thanks Simon) suggesting i set:
new_vers_high = 1445673072572143232
new_vers_low = 52560
but that is what I originally had anyway. I have not figured out why I
still get the error on the ds10, but I had no problems installing the patch
kit this weekend to 3 es40's and 1 ds25.
