Many people gave several useful answers:
1. Run the dupatch the "Patch Baseline Analysis/Adjustment" option.
2. Read the patch kit release notes: Indeed this particular problem
and a procedure is explained in the notes.
3. Remove the Insight Manager software CPQIM330 before installing
the patch kit, since it conflicts with the file /sbin/init.d/snmpd.
I chose option 3, it being the simplest method requiring no
fudging with backup of files etc. After the patch kit had
been installed, I reinstalled the Insight Manager kit.
