Thanks for everyone's replies. Seems that if I increase maxuser it will
effect most of the other parameters in one way or the other so I'll start
there and see what happens.

As part of our application installation it has listed some kernel
parameters that need to be modified. I have looked, but I can't find
what
the equivalent Tru64 5.1b would be.
NINODES - Maximum number of opened inodes.
NFILES - Maximum number of opened files.
NOFILES - Maximum number of opened files per process.
MAXUP - Maximum number of process per user
NPROC - Maximum numbers of process
NFLOCKS - Also known as FLCKREC: number file region locking.
Does anyone have an idea what the equivalent Tru64 5.1B names would be?
