Here a detailed description, what to do (thanks also to VINCENT Jean-Marc,
assuming the same procedure),

An: "Dr. Martin Körfer" <koerfer_at_mpch-mainz.mpg.de>
I strongly suggest you to install the latest patch on 5.1A and then use 5.1B
CDROM and finally Install Patchkit #5 over that 5.1B Installation with Early
Relased Patches.
As step 1, do a /, /usr and /var backup with "vdump 0uf - /osfilesystem |
vrestore -xf - -D /osfilesystembackup" (usin a temporary mounted OS File
Systems Backup in other different Drive for the Cluster inside the HSG80.
That witll work, I've done it serveral times.

Subject: Cluster-Update 51.A to 51.B
Hi managers,
we run TruCluster V5.1a, PK6 (Rev.1885) on a 2-node-Cluster with shared
HSG80-storage.
We updated the node-firmware to 7.1-1
Now we want to switch to the actual TruCluster 5.1B by using a "rolling
update-procedure".
Is it appropriate to use directly the
5.1B-3
Operating-System-CD (that we have)
or is it meaningfull to use some earlier version.
Thanks in advance
Martin
