Tru64 5.1B pk6 + point patches.
I have a domain containing a currently mounted and active single fileset
from which I'm trying to remove an underlying volume. The volume that's
left is capable of holding the domain on it's own but a rmvol tells me
the volume I need to remove doesn't exist in the domain. It does, the
link in /etc/fdmns is good, there are no other fileset names
interfering, the domain is not paniced. Balance also says it runs on the
domain but quits after a few seconds without having balanced the domain.
The message I get is:
root_at_hpuna2:># rmvol /dev/vol/ltc01dg/ltcvdumpvol01 vdump_dom
rmvol: Removing 1 volume(s) from domain 'vdump_dom'
rmvol: '/dev/vol/ltc01dg/ltcvdumpvol01' does not exist in domain
rmvol: Can't remove 1 volume(s) from domain 'vdump_dom'
Anyone seen this before?
Danielle Georgette.
