I have an RA8000 that has been in production for quite a while. I have recently lost the ability to connect to it via the terminal.
I have been trying to install SWCC on the Tru64 v5.1a server that it is connected to in order to regain communications with it. However I have been unable to install it.
I downloaded the Tru64 Platform kit (TRU64_HSG80_88.zip ) from:

I extracted it and ftp'd the Agent to /usr/local/src/swcc/agent on my Tru64 Server.
When I navigate to that folder and run "setld -l ." I get the following error:
bash# pwd
/usr/local/src/swcc/agent
bash# ls
SWCC520 instctrl
bash# setld -l .
/usr/sbin/setld: /var/tmp/stltmp119260/SWCC520.scp: not found
setld: No installable subsets on your kit
bash#
When I look in the SWCC520 Directory I see the following:
bash# ls instctrl/
SWC520.comp SWCC520.ctrl SWCC520.scp.SCP
SWCC.image SWCC520.inv.INV
So referencing the directory above, it appeared as though the files needed to be in a specific directory in /var/tmp/ I thought it was strange, but I created the directory and corrected the file name extension:
bash# pwd
/var/tmp/stltmp121843
bash# ls
SWC520.comp SWCC.image SWCC520.ctrl SWCC520.inv SWCC520.scp
Now when I try to run the installation I the same error, but the path of the file in tmp directory has changed:
/usr/sbin/setld: /var/tmp/stltmp115078/SWCC520.scp: not found
So What do I do now, I am at a complete loss!
