Yesterday some oracle dbas made some adjustments to the

oracle kernel on our alpha 8200(du 3.2c) They claim to have 

freed up over 2gigs of space in one of the partitions. When

I do a df it shows that partition at 100% when I know there

are actually 2 gigs available. When the adjustments were

made to the oracle kernel, the system remained in multiuser

mode though the databases were shutdown of course. Any

hints would be summarized of course
