Compaq x86 systems
Many Compaq systems have operated on the network over the past few years - both servers and desktops. More details can be found on each systems individual page (where one is available). Systems below that do not have assigned names have not operated on the network since that sort of thing was recorded and assigned.
- smoothwall - A Compaq Deskpro 4000. Works as my router/proxy server/DHCP/DNS machine.
- ps0 - A Compaq Deskpro 2000 loaded with 3 LPT ports. Used as a print server for the dot-matrix printer.
- - Two or three other Deskpro 4000s which have been retired for now. One has a Voodoo 2 in it, one is probably dead.
- - A big stack of Deskpro 2000s which currently hold up the printer
- - A big stack of Prolinea 575e machines - most of which will be stripped and dumped soon
- - A Prolinea 5100e
- - A Proliant 850R Rackmount server. No currently assigned name - used to go by pl850r on the Netware network
- - A Proliant 1500R Rackmount server. Dead battery. No currently assigned name - used to go by pl1500r on the Netware network
- - A Prosignia VS
- - A Prosignia 300
- - Two Prosignia 500s (one is missing its CPU bracket)
- - A Proliant 4500. Unkown condition - missing parts
