Textel/RELAY is a fully integrated message management system that controls fax, telex, electronic data interchange (EDI), and e-mail communication systems. RELAY works with a wide variety of applications using modules that enable the exchange of purchase orders (POs), travel confirmations, invoices, statements, and order acknowledgements directly from an application.

Key modules and services:

• RELAY Fax module—includes a Forms Overlay module for maintaining quality output of special documents such as POs
• RELAY Telex module—searches and finds the recipient from the text of a message
• RELAY E-mail service module—provides an online communications gateway to network hardware providers
• RELAY EDI module—supports multiple message standards and network suppliers
