VMove is a tool that enables reading and writing DOS-formatted media such as MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows floppy disks, hard disks, magneto-optical, zip, and CD-Roms on OpenVMS systems. It works
with almost any storage peripheral that has a small computer system interface (SCSI). For text files, VMove automatically translates special characters such as umlauts or format characters to adapt
them to the characteristics of the respective operating systems.
