Remedy IT Expertise bv is a software-development consulting company that provides support and solutions for automation projects to organizations in the banking and insurance sectors. The company focuses specifically on using new technologies to create a wide variety of applications ranging from device drivers to distributed middleware components. Additionally, Remedy IT consultants provide recommendations on process automation; analysis, construction, and modification of applications; and audits of ongoing projects, system specifications, source code, and applications.

Remedy IT works closely with a select group of international partners. It has partnered with HP to deliver fully functional open-source ports of the ACE (ADAPTIVE Communication Environment) and TAO (The ACE Orb) projects to the HP OpenVMS operating system on HP AlphaServer and HP Integrity platforms. These activities have been targeted for completion by the end of 2004.

Remedy IT provides consulting services and support for the open-source ACE (ADAPTIVE Communication Environment) and TAO (The ACE Orb) projects. ACE is an object-oriented framework for implementing many standard patterns for communications software. TAO implements a complete CORBA 3.x-compliant Object Request Broker (ORB) and a great number of the standard CORBA services. These technologies make it easier for programmers to communicate with each other and develop stable, portable, and fast software in a short amount of time.

Remedy IT software engineers have been actively involved in the development of ACE and TAO, and have worked with these technologies for several years. This experience combined with the reliability and scalability of HP OpenVMS platforms enables Remedy IT to quickly deliver working solutions that increase the efficiency and predictability of high-performance, bandwidth-intensive enterprise application environments.
