Changing the number of colors and the size of the image

To change the number of colors displayed on your monitor, and the amount of visible screen area used:

1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click the Display icon.
3. Click the Settings tab.

Depending on the type of video adapter you have, you may have to restart your computer before your new settings take effect.
