Using patterns as wallpaper

Sometimes colored wallpaper makes your system run too slowly. Try using patterns instead: they don't use up as much memory.

Here's how:

  1. Right click on the desktop, and then click Properties.
  2. On the Background tab, click None in the Wallpaper list, and then click Apply.
  3. Click the Pattern button.
  4. Click an item in the Patterns list.
