Using single-click everywhere

It's so easy to navigate the Web . . . you just click a link to open the page. Wouldn't it be nice if you could just click an icon in Windows to open a program or document? You're in luck! Windows 98 supports single-clicking for folders and icons! Here's how to do it:

  1. Folder Options boxClick Start, point to Settings, and then click Folder Options.
  2. Click Web style.
  3. If you want to have more control over the exact settings, click Custom, then click Settings, and then click Single click to open an item.
