TCB problem: fixed

people, for those that were interested in our tcb problem of yesterday, which
after lots of playing around boiled down to something being wrong with
changing the userid rxkjfl to rxxjfl. Well, it seems that somewhere along
the line something got trashed, and the system believed that rxkjfl had
changed the root password (why this should cause the other problems, I have
NO idea!). After we changed the root password of our system, everything
decided to work ok. very strange.
