Hello,
I am trying to side-grade a AlphaServer 1000 from NT to OSF/1.
Trying to save a little money in the process, I would
not purchase the expensive NAS 200 s/w if none if it's components
were needed. NAS 200 includes, among other things:
DEC OSF/1 Server Extensions,
POLYCENTER Advanced File System Utilities,
DCE Runtime Services.
Print Server Software
I am most concerned about AdvFS.
For AdvFS users, do you find the POLYCENTER AdvFS Utilities useful?
(Any other strong quick impressions about the need for the components of
NAS 200?)
