Hi managers !
Here comes a question about DECnsr. We have a Alpha 3000/800, OSF/1 3.0,
AdvFS
and raid 5 on a HSZ40 controller that serves our NFS needs. We also have it
installed as a NetWorker client using DECnsr ver. 2.3 alphaclient software
using a SUN SS/10-51 NetWorker server.
Last night this server was due for a incremental backup, but because of
some
tapes being inaccessible, the backup was delayed until this morning. The
backup completed OK, but backed up over 1GB compressed data. I found that
quite odd, mostly because there was a incremental backup Friday night that
backed up nearly 5GB. Therefore I did a 'find /some/filesystem -mtime -2'
to see what had altered during Saturday and Sunday. I came up with only one
file 80 blocks big, but the scheduled backup backed up over 1GB compressed
data!
The filesystems in question are all AdvFS.
Is this a bug in find or DECnsr or is it me missing something ????
