Dear managers:
We have a collection of DEC MIPS WS and Alpha WS. We have written in-house
several X-Window display programs. The problem, which greatly
accelerated when I went on vacation for 2 weeks at Xmas ( I am still
neeed!), is the window servers keep eating more and more memory until we
get an out of core message which means the window server process has to
be killed. In our X11 programs we free up memory when the program
exits. I have tried altering the tty file on DEC MIPS WS, upgrading OS,
etc. We have tried a lot. What steps should I take on both our Alpha
and any on our DEC MIPS WS.
Thanks!!!!
