AdvFS details?

Hello:

We are starting to use AdvFS, we have the licensed utilities.
The question is exactly how does the AdvFS expand and contract?

What do I need to define as filesystems, what do I need to
reserve for expansion?

Is there a logical disk that is made up of many disk?
We have 4G in 2 hd on a 2100 server.
