Integral Modem port

Hello,
I'm trying to connect an internal US Robotics modem to my 3000/600.
I have a few questions, and would greatly appreciate any answers,
as my boss is somewhat eager for this one.

First, I can find no mention of internal modems in the manuals.
How do I connect one without running a line through the back wall of the
cpu cabinet and into the appropriate port on the back?

I've seen several mentions of an "integral modem port" on this list.
it is said to be capable of speeds up to 19.2K baud. But I can find
no reference to it in any of my manuals, and no sign of it on my machines.
How do I konw where to find it? When I've found it, whoe do I describe
it, eg, /dev/tty01?

I do have an "alternate console/printer" port, which the Owner's guide
claims can be used for connecting a modem or printer. How do I address
this one?

If worst comes to worst, and I absolutely MUST use the serial port for the
modem, is there a switch box or something I can use so that both the modem
and the printer can be connected to the same serial port?

Many thanks,
And I will post whatever I learn in this process.
Joe
