Hi,

The latest version (3.3beta) of libtiff is alpha-safe, and compiles and works
fine for me. This has cleared up all problems with the TIFF tools! This library
is available from ftp://sgi.com/graphics/tiff.

Xv v3.10a comes with this library included, but will only display the first
page of multi-page TIFF files. It's available from ftp://src.doc.ic.ac.uk in my
part of the world.

To get round this, you can use 'xtiff' or one of the many tools included with
the sgi distribution of libtiff... including the very useful 'tiff2ps' - what a
wonderful piece of software!
