Problem Converting Packed Decimal data from S/36 to OSF/1

Hi,

We got problem in converting data from IBM S/36 to Alpha OSF/1

Input data :
        format DOS (diskette), which actually transfered from S/36
        consist of packed decimal data

What we did :
        copy the data to OSF/1
        run dos2unix <file-name>

Problem :
        error read file (error because data is not correct)

Please help solve my problem, since we still have the same project.
