Thanks to all who responded to my original request on info regarding X
Windows emulation packages for Microsoft Windows. I received many good
reviews about Exceed ver. 4. No one had anything bad to say about it for the
most part, and it seemed to be the package of choice. Reflextion X also got
many favorable responses as well, but seemed to lack the speed and
versitility of Exceed 4.0. Other packages such as Exodus, Excursion and PC-
Xware got mixed reviews. A few users had difficulty in configuring those
three but once it was up and running, people were fairly satisfied with the
product. Plus these three seemed not be as fast as Exceed 4.0 A freeware
package called Linux got some favorable reviews but obviously lacked some of
the "bells and whistles" that the commercial packages have.

In general, many people wrote that all packages are slow and unless the PC is
at least a high 486 or better yet a Pentium-based performance will be
disappointing.

I have also found that evaluation copies for many of these packages are
available by contacting the company.

Once again thanks to everyone that replied.
