My original question was "How to run /usr/sbin/rcmgr in single user
mode after system crash ?"
Answer:
1) Mount local filesystems with '/sbin/bcheckrc'.
2) Clear '/var/adm/crash'.
3) Return to multiuser mode with '/sbin/init 3'.
If this fails, try '/usr/sbin/rcmgr set SAVECORE_FLAGS M'
and reboot.
(Sorry for the typo: /dev/rz3c on /usr type ufs (rw)

must be /dev/rz3c on /home type ufs (rw))
