Same here! I'm sure there's always one hole somewhere we forget about
and don't realize it!

Where exactly is he releasing it? IW never mentioned the site. I assume
places like prep.ai.mit.edu will probably have it, but I haven't heard of
any specific sites mentioned.

All the tools needed to run SATAN are freely available in source form
over the net. Perl can usually be found where ever you get GNU stuff.
prep.ai.mit.edu has it, and from the Perl meta-FAQ, here are some other
sitesL
5. Where can I get Perl 5?

The Perl 5.000 release notes can be found at:

          [] ftp://perl.com/pub/perl/doc/Perlv5.0-Release-Note.gz

The Perl 5.000 distribution is available from the following
     archives:

     North America

     South America
         [] ftp://ftp.inf.utfsm.cl/pub/gnu/perl5.000.tar.gz

     MS-DOS
Darryl Okahata's port of Perl5 to MSDOS, currently a BETA release:

         [] ftp://ftp.einet.net:/pub/perl5/
         [] ftp://ftp.khoros.unm.edu/pub/perl/msdos/
         [] ftp://ftp.ee.umanitoba.ca/pub/msdos/perl/perl5/

As far as Netscape/Mosaic, well, I'm not sure of the official sites, but
I'm sure at least one of the above sites will have it, my bet is
prep.ai.mit.edu, they seem to have most all of the good stuff!

Hope this helps a little! Oh, by the way, you really should have gcc to
compile these tools with, ESPECIALLY if you plan on installing on a
DECStation or under Ultrix(doesn't hurt to use it on other platforms either)!

See ya,
Paul
