Hi all,

I have a QIC-150 external tape unit that does not respond no more.

It worked fine untill I done something unadvertantly. The tape unit was set
with SCSI ID=4, i recently got a RZ28 disk to fit into a StorageWorks
box which I plugged into the last slot in the StorageWorks box. At this point
I did not check the SCSI ID for the slot which happened to be 4. After booting
up, the system could see the RZ28 disk as ID=4. Comming to use the QIC-150 tape,
a week later it did'nt work - setting the SCSI-ID to 5 or 6 it fails to work
anymore ( the system does not pick it up using 'show device' ).

Could this of damaged the QIC-150 controller somehow ?

At the time this happened I also had a TLZ07 dat tape set to SCSI-ID=5, it was
not affected and continues to work fine.

Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Joe
